Let's bring your dream outfit to life...
Do you have a big occasion coming up and you're dreaing of the outfit you want to wear?
Then maybe a bespoke outfit is what you need!
Together we will design and create the outfit, whether it's your wedding dress, seperates, wedding cape, bridesmaids, flowergirls, mother of the bride etc.
If you know what you want and can't find it, or you even love one of my own designs and want to adapt it to your dream dress then get in touch!
Where it begins
A bespoke outfit of any type requires multiple appointments.
It's a process that requires time and patience on both sides, but also knowing exactly what your vision is, and knowing that it also aligns with my style of work.
We would begin with a consultation to discuss your requirements, ensure it is viable for both parties, sketch a design and start to look at fabrics. Sometimes a couple of design consults are required to nail the design, look at budget and choose fabrics.
The Process

Consultations
As described above, we will discuss the style, decoration, fabrics, budget etc and design your dream outfit. This can sometimes be completed in one appointment or require 2.
We would also take your measurements during one of these appointments if you're happy to go ahead.

Toile fitting
The toile fitting is generally made out of calico or a fabric made of cotton that drapes and behaves in a similar way to the intended fabric.
This appointment allows us to fit the pattern to you, make any design adjustments, draw on it, pin it etc to get it looking just right.
We may have multiple toile fittings to get the right shape and fit before heading into the main fabric.

Main fabric fittings
Once we're happy with the toile fit, we then move into the top fabric where we will again have at least 2 appointments, more if it's heavily decorated to ensure the fit and look is perfect for you.
Once the outfit is complete, we would have a final fitting where you would be able to take your dream outfit home, ready to wear for that special occasion.
Pricing
This is a really tricky one to say, it's a bit like 'how long is a piece of string'.
The reason for this is that every design will be different, the amount of fabric required, decoration and time to make it will vary greatly.
For example, a dress with no decoration will cost alot less than the same dress with lots of decoration.
To give a guideline the minimum bespoke cost would be £350 starting point for the simplest of dresses (mini dresses) + material costs, upto around £4000 + material costs.
