Our Story

Cherilyn Leeson is a Luxury bridal and eveningwear brand, influenced from a nod to history, enchanting romance and a touch of fantasy. Each piece is handmade within the Midlands, UK. 

We offer both ready to wear styles (these are our designs that can be ordered, but we will still need to make it when you order it) and bespoke, where we can design the dress of your dreams together, and includes a lengthier process. 

 

Cherilyn's journey started as a young girl, with a dream and passion for historically influenced clothing which soon led into the world of Costume for Screen and Stage where she gained a degree and worked within the TV, film and theatre industry; before finding her home within the bridal industry. 

Making her first wedding dress at 20, whilst still at uni. She has been working within the bridal industry for the last 16 years specialising as a Bridal Alterations Specialist (and winning Highly commended in the inaugural category of Bridal seamstress in The Wedding Industry Awards, East Midlands)  as well as being a designer/ maker of occasionwear and bridal.
